A single hydraulic system can have components and or sub-systems that operate at different pressures. For example, the pressure in the housing of a hydraulic pump or motor cannot exceed 70-PSI while the system pressure might be 5000-PSI. It is not possible to use a 5000-PSI analog gauge to read pressures as low as 70-PSI. Also, a vacuum gauge is needed to check the health of a hydraulic pump’s inlet.

There are instances when more than one pressure gauge is needed to set up and/or troubleshoot a hydraulic system. Take for example a closed-loop system where it’s necessary to monitor pump case pressure, charge pressure, and system pressure simultaneously.

A universal pressure gauge test kit is ideal for this purpose. Gauge scales (pressures) can be changed to suit your unique requirements. The kit also consists of 60” Microbore hoses, which allow technicians to observe pressure while keeping them a safe distance from moving parts. They also allow technicians to…

We asked field service technicians around the world why they were reluctant to carry hydraulic diagnostic instrumentation into the field. The two main reasons were weight and physical size.

We gave Hydra Check’s team of troubleshooting and maintenance professionals the ultimate challenge – design a test kit that would have all the diagnostic tools needed to maintain and troubleshoot the majority of mobile and industrial hydraulic systems.

Introducing the most comprehensive and compact hydraulic diagnostic kit available… the HYDRACHECK HC-TK500

To meet the needs of maintenance professionals who service a wide variety of hydraulic machinery, we took our most popular flow meters in each flow size and combined them to make this extremely versatile flow meter test kit that covers a wide variety of flows – from 1.0 GPM to 100 GPM (3.8 Lpm to 568 Lpm).

Each flow meter is equipped with an adjustable load test cell so you can generate pressure when it is not safe or practical to do while the machine is operating. Each unit is also equipped with a pressure test connector so you can quickly and easily connect the pressure gauge (included in the kit) to any flow meter without using a wrench. This feature allows you to monitor system pressure while flow testing a component.

Also included in the kit is a compact infrared thermometer so you can monitor temperature during a test. You get all the components you need to flow test…
