The flow turbine can be permanently installed or used for diagnostics. The oil flow through the unit rotates the internal axial turbine. The frequencies generated are processed by digital electronics (a signal converter). Flow effects causing interference are compensated in this process. In the new, redesigned version, the signal converter is now directly integrated into the flow turbine. This allows even simpler operation and supports the permanent coupling of the turbine and signal converter components that are matched to one another.

The new turbine also improves the response times/reaction times (from a previous 400 ms to 50 ms) and increases measurement accuracy. The flow turbine is available in six versions for various flow speeds. A pressure sensor can be connected in parallel to the flow turbine by way of the integrated test point. In addition, the oil temperature can also be measured using the temperature sensor connection.

The flow turbine is used in conjunction with the

The HV series of loading valve gives smooth progressive pressure control in both flow directions allowing components such as cylinders or motors to be tested without re-plumbing the test connections.

The valve features the exclusive INTERPASS safety disc system which protects the operator, components and the environment by preventing unwanted external oil loss. In the event of overpressure the discs rupture and oil bypasses the valve internally at low pressure.

The valve features a gauge port which is ported to the inlet (in the forward direction). Combined with our flow meters or portable testers, the HV series loading valve makes testing hydraulic components and circuits on a wide range of agricultural, industrial and mobile equipment fast, efficient and safe.

Features:

Flow: Up to 210 GPM (800 lpm) Pressure: Up to 6000 PSI (420 bar) INTERPASS: Internal safety protection system with replaceable burst discs Smooth progressive pressure control Easy to retrofit Gauge Port: 1/4″ NPT

It is a well recognized fact that the majority of hydraulic component failures are caused by contamination. Yet, most hydraulic systems are equipped with filters. So why are they failing?

Most filters are installed in hydraulic systems without any regard for the system’s total filtration requirement. Filters should rather be “engineered” into a hydraulic system, bearing in mind that each hydraulic system is unique. This 32-page guide provides information on a “system” approach to contamination control and is explained in a manner that is easy to understand.

The health of a hydraulic system is determined by two parameters – oil temperature and pressure. Consequently, hydraulic system design engineers should install devices in the system that make it safe and simple, for maintenance technicians to check the pressure on a routine schedule.

The test point, pressure test coupling, or Minimess is designed for just such a task. They allow machine operators and maintenance personnel to easily and safely connect analog/digital measuring and display devices for the temporary testing or continuous monitoring of system pressure. This type of connection requires no tools, can be used during machinery operation, and will spill no oil when connected and disconnected. The unit even has the capability to connect under pressure up to 5800 PSI (400 bar).

The pressure testing side of the test point is M16x1.5. The side that connects to the machinery comes in a variety of connections – NPT, SAE, JIC, Metric, BSPP, BSPT, ORFS, DKO, etc. A benefit of…

The direct gauge adapter is designed to make the gauge connection to a pressure test coupling safe, effortless, and spill-free. The female swivel end of the direct gauge adapter is a M16x2 connection. Use in conjunction with the M16x2 test connector (Test Point).
